Local business marks two decades of growth, community support and outdoor adventure
Yass Valley Outdoors is celebrating 20 years in business, marking two decades of serving the Yass community and surrounding region.
Established in 2006, the business has grown from a small local operation into a trusted destination for outdoor enthusiasts, earning a reputation for quality products, reliable service and strong customer relationships.
A significant milestone was reached in 2009 when the business partnership was formally established, creating a solid foundation for future growth. In 2016, a new partner joined the business, bringing additional experience and helping drive its continued development.

Reflecting on the anniversary, the partners said the achievement would not have been possible without the support of customers, staff, suppliers and the wider community.
“Reaching 20 years in business is a milestone we are incredibly proud of. We are grateful to everyone who has supported us over the years. The trust and loyalty of our customers, along with the dedication of our staff and suppliers, have been central to our success.”
Remaining at the same location since opening has allowed the business to build lasting relationships with generations of local customers and become an established part of the community.
As Yass Valley Outdoors celebrates this milestone, the partners are also preparing for the next chapter, with the business currently being offered for sale. After 20 successful years, the opportunity presents a chance for new owners to build on a strong reputation, loyal customer base and solid foundations for future growth.
The partners remain committed to ensuring a smooth transition and thank the community for its continued support over the past two decades.
