A lucky Yass couple have found themselves very lucky indeed after receiving a very shocking call on Monday, 21 September.
The pair, still in bed, were woken up with the news that they held the only division one winning entry in the ‘Set for Life’ draw, taking home a total of five million dollars.
The money will distributed evenly each month, with the lucky couple receiving $200,000 right away, and $20,000 every month after that for the next 20 years.
The Yass locals also made history as the first ‘Set for Life’ division one winners to pocket the brand-new ‘Right Away’ $200,000 prize.

Only just beginning to awake and prepare themselves for another busy week, the couple were completely unaware they had won the life-changing prize the night before, only discovering the win after an official called them with the news.
“This is a great way to wake up!” The winning husband said.
“Wow. That’s amazing. The most I’ve ever won is about $10 or $20.
“I saw the $200,000 Right Away prize and thought, ‘that’s pretty good. I’ll give it a go’.”

The pair said the money could open up a world of possibilities for themselves and their family.
“It’ll make a huge difference,” the winning wife said.
“We’ll definitely have a big think before we decide what to do.
“We could travel, spoil the pets and help the kids out. I might even pull the pin on work!
“Of course. Before we decide, we’ll have a good think about it and let it all sink in.
“It’s amazing news. I can’t believe it.”
