free business health checks rescheduled for June 2nd in Yass

Are you running a business or thinking of starting your own business? In partnership with Enterprise Plus, the NSW Business Connect program, and Yass Valley Council, free personalised business health checks will be provided this week on June 2nd (rescheduled from May 24th) at the Yass Valley Information Centre. The program will run from 9am and businesses are asked to book online on Eventbrite for a one-hour session during the day. These sessions are part of the 8 hours available for each business from The NSW Business Connect Programs. Start-ups are also welcome to book a session.

 

“Our Business Health Check will provide you with a free one on one session with your local Business Advisor and will give you useful and practical guidance to help identify your business strengths and weaknesses and help you prioritise steps to grow your business,” explain the organisers.

The business health check-up sessions will be held at the Yass Valley Visitor Information Centre Thursday 25th 2023

 

“That will help you gain valuable insights into your business’ performance and provide you with some great tips to help you start, run, adapt and grow your business.”

 

The Business Health Check provides businesses with comprehensive insights covering: business direction, customers and competition, profitability, staff and business culture, future needs and risks, and digital trends and needs.

Funded by the NSW Government as part of the Business Connect program, Enterprise Plus will deliver their services to local businesses.

The purpose is to assist businesses become more sustainable, to generate employment opportunities and to assist young people with their career and educational journeys.” 

 

“The focus is on the client, whether you are a current business operator, intend to start a new venture, are seeking some professional development or perhaps you are a younger person seeking assistance with your education or career; the professional Advisors and Educators are here to assist you.

 

So far, the Business Connect program has supported 52,000 small businesses across NSW, with over half of the support given to regional businesses like those in the Yass Valley (56%). The top three business issues addressed over the history of the program include business planning, marketing, and overcoming COVID-19 disruptions. The most supported industry so far has been retail. With 33,200 estimated jobs created up to March this year and 96% satisfaction rate, these free sessions are a fantastic opportunity for businesses in the Yass Valley.
