Spring is definitely here – light and colour abound and encourage us outside. And what do we find? – There are too many garden and house maintenance things to do. We have to escape.
Thank goodness for all the Shows that are on offer that allow us to avoid the home requirements. But so many of those shows remind us of the house and garden issues that await us when we get home. One show that will take us in another direction is about to commence at the Tyger Gallery in Yass.
“For the Love of Art” is an exhibition of the interesting and varied works of the Yass U3A Art Group. Artists in the Group work across a wide range of mediums, including oils, acrylics, watercolours, pastels and pencil, and explore styles from traditional to contemporary and abstract.
Discover unique artworks by established local artists – maybe for yourself, maybe for Christmas presents – because Christmas is next…. “For the Love of Art”, an exhibition of the work of the Yass U3A Art Group, is on at the Tyger Gallery from Wednesday 5th to Sunday 9th November, from 10am to 4pm.
The opener of the exhibition is our own local, much respected and talented artist – Col Nelson. The exhibition opening will take place between 5.30 and 7.00pm on Wednesday 5 November, the invitation is open to all.
