Yass Valley Council are asking the community about the planned Murrumbateman All Abilities Playground with a community survey open until May 12.
Yass Council said that there was a previous survey but it was affected by corrupted data, so they aren’t able to use the information that was collected.
This survey was put in place of that.
The survey deals with where would you prefer the Murrumbateman All Abilities Playground to be located, 10 Hercules Street or Murrumbateman Recreation Ground.
Murrumbateman Recreation Ground’s proposed location is on the Southern sand area by the tennis courts which will have an existing car park, toilet facilities and internal pathways. The site will cater for the original design.
As for 10 Hercules Street, it will replace the Anglican Church playground and will already have pedestrian access from the village and Fairley Estate and existing car parking. New toilet facilities and a modification to the original design.
