The committee of the Friends of the Liberty Theatre and Cultural Centre Inc. are very pleased with the progress made to install the cinema equipment so once again the whole community can enjoy films in their own town.
Although we’ve upgraded some things currently heating is limited so warm clothes and knee rugs are recommended until spring is over.
We are planning showings very soon, however for this to happen efficiently we’re calling on volunteers, in the areas of ushers, ticket sellers and snack bar attendants, and of course the most crucial projector operators.

Once we start showing movies we hope to form a Classic movie Club for residents to subscribe to, allowing them to make suggestions of films to show.
Our AGM will be at the Theatre on Sunday the 14th September at 3:00pm. Open to all but with payment of annual subscription, you will have voting rights. Looking forward to seeing many people join us on this journey of the Liberty Theatre Yass.
