Yass Valley Council is excited to support Small Business Month (1- 31 March 2022) for the first time.
Working in collaboration with MAP Institute and Southern Region Business Enterprise Centre, small business month will provide businesses across Yass Valley with valuable tools and resources to enhance their brand and help them grow after a challenging few years.
The themes and focus of the workshops cover concepts such as understanding your most profitable customers, marketing positions, growth through collaboration and improving the production and delivery of products/services. All are essential fundamentals for successful entrepreneurship.
Council has provided $2500 in funding to deliver a three-part series of one-hour, online workshops. Each workshop will allow 20 small business owners to meet with a mentor with a proven track record of successful business operation.
MAP Institute is an official collaboration partner for Small Business Month 2022 and will de- liver the online workshops to small business owners.
Over the past two years, MAP has delivered nearly 20 mentoring programs for small business communities for more than 12 different councils, including City of Sydney, Ryde, Canada Bay, Kuring-gai, Snowy Monaro, Bega Valley, Kempsey, Port Stephens, Warrumbungle and others.
Now that things are opening up, Council wants to encourage business owners throughout the valley to develop and grow their skill set to help them be better prepared for future challenges.
“The events have been strategically held online to allow business owners from across the valley to attend.”
Please view the Yass Valley Small Business Month Calendar to book online workshops. Registration is essential.
