Members of the Yass Music Club and people of the Yass Community are reminded of the upcoming fifth concert of our 2023 series featuring the Arcadia Winds to be held on Saturday 21st October commencing at 7.45pm in the Memorial Hall.
Arcadia Winds are trailblazers for Australian wind music. Formed in 2013 at the Australian National Academy of Music, Arcadia Winds are known for their energetic, joyful and spontaneous performances all over Australia, concert halls across mainland China, and reached listeners around the world through the BBC Proms broadcasts of Australian chamber music.
The ensemble has also performed at festivals across Australia and has been heavily involved in educating and inspiring the next generation of young wind musicians. Arcadia Winds is presented in association with Musica Viva Australia and supported by the NSW Government though Create NSW and the Australian Government through the Australia Council for the Arts.
