Now a full family venture, Gallagher wines are true to variety, time and place of which this week’s “swirl” is a great example – the Gallagher Sauvignon Blanc 2019.
The wine is welcoming with its brightness in the glass and its medium straw colour.
After a swirl, vibrant tropical fruit salad aromas come to the forefront with passionfruit, guava and dried mango.
The slurp provides vibrancy and freshness with lively tropical flavours, a lingering lick of acid and a shake of minerality.
This “savvy” worked with a fresh tomato and basil bruschetta but would also work well with any seafood or light chicken dish or even some of Libby’s Labneh.
