Tracey Beadman Joins Jamie’s Shave tonight in Yass at 5:30!

After Jamie Duncan made headlines last month for pledging to shave his long hair and beard in support of raising money for the Yass SPIN (Supporting People in Need) Foundation, fellow Aldi colleague and Yass store manager Tracey Beadman has also pledged to do the same.

Tracey and Jamie will get their heads shaved tonight, Thursday 15 December, at the Yass Christmas Parade.

The last time Jamie had a clean shave was in 2018, and both he and Tracey are looking forward to supporting a great community-based not-for-profit foundation.

However, the pair have a goal of $5,000 in mind to raise before they get the chop, currently sitting just under $3,000 in their campaign.

“Ok, I’ll shave too if you make it worth it,” Tracey stated.

“I’ve always said Yass NSW is a small town with a massive heart. Over the weekend I was challenged by some amazing friends and some local businesses here in town to not let our man stand alone.

“I can’t say no to helping out some locals in need. If they, and you, pay up, I’ll get the chop.

“So, yes, I will be sitting beside Jamie and shaving to support locals. Can I wear a hat to work?

“Not long until we get to put our bald heads together for a great origination! Please help where you can.”

Tracey spoke to the Times last week before getting her hair shaved, she was both nervous and excited about the opportunity.

“I went to the Street Beat concert on the weekend and a few local businesses that were there as well said that they would pay up if I joined Jamie with the shave,” Tracey said.

“It took a fair bit of convincing. Obviously being female, I had to have a good think about it.

“Our target is $5,000 and we’re pretty close to reaching that. Jamie is going to go down to skin level with the clippers and I’m going to go a number two.

“We’re excited that we’re going to be able to help out the Yass community but I’m extremely nervous. Jamie’s just happy that he’ll finally have a haircut.

“We’ve got some great support from the community already. It’s really cool, it’s really nice to do something to help someone else.”

Aldi colleagues Tracey & Jamie are set to shave their heads (and THAT beard!) tonight so please make a donation if you can

Both Tracey and Jamie have already received a host of support from those around the community, including Melissa from Bald Hill Quarry, Yazzbar, Beau Dunley, Jamie Wiggles-Dunn, Louise Hill, JB Auto Yass, Yass Valley SPIN Foundation, Aussie Hotel Bistro, and Andrew Curlewis at Yass Valley Property, just to name a few.
