Over 2 weeks and 3 weekends, 49 artists will bring 60 sculptures to life in the stunning surroundings of the rolling paddocks, with vineyard views, at Shaw Wines.
This year, Shaw Wines are joined by partners Belco Arts, who provide the expertise and support needed to ensure the standard of presentation and organisation of this event does justice to the artists’ creations.
Shaw Wines Owner/Winemaker Graeme Shaw said, “As well as wine, we have always had a great passion for art. We have several amazing pieces of art on permanent display in our cellar door and around our property, and Shaw Wines has always been a strong supporter of local artists, hosting numerous smaller art exhibitions here and sponsoring many art events in the local area.

Sculpture@Shaw enables us to take this passion to another level and provide an opportunity for well-known and emerging artists from all over Australia to showcase their works on a larger scale, in a beautiful rural setting.”
As well as offering a great opportunity for artists to showcase their works to a large audience, Sculpture@Shaw additionally support the artists by awarding substantial funding and prizes, totalling over $65K, to those sculptures voted the best at the exhibition:
- Sculpture@Shaw Finalist Bursaries, generously sponsored by The Fields Murrumbateman, give a financial contribution to all artists who have created large works that need specialist transportation.
- The Cellar Door Prize, sponsored by Shaw and Partners Financial Services, will be awarded to the best small artwork.
- The Emerging Artist Prize is being sponsored by Abode Hotels, Murrumbateman.
- The popular People’s Choice Prize, sponsored by Shaw Wines, will be voted on by visitors to the exhibition.
- And finally, the overall winner will receive the Sculpture@Shaw Prize, also sponsored by Shaw Wines.
Sculpture@Shaw is a great family-friendly and dog-friendly (on leash) day out, with Shaw Wines’ large estate allowing visitors to enjoy discovering the great new artworks at their own pace, in an open, uncrowded and beautiful outdoor environment.
Entry tickets start at just $5 (plus booking fee) available via www.sculptureatshaw.com.au, with children under 18 and Shaw Wines Wine Club Members getting free entry.
Shaw Wines award-winning Cellar Door (Best Tourism Winery, Brewery, Distillery at the Canberra District Tourism Awards) will be open to welcome fellow art-lovers to their spacious facilities for wine tastings or a comfy seat with a glass of wine, and onsite restaurant, Olleyville at Shaw, will also be on-hand (Thursday evening to Sunday lunch) to provide a range of great dining options to accompany your art-adventure.
