Chantal Fleming, Yass Valley’s own World International Royalty Australia Classic Queen, is currently raising money for the National Breast Cancer Foundation through a Christmas in July Raffle sale with a great variety of prizes. This October, Chantal will be arriving at the World International Royalty Pageant (WIRA) final in October this year, held in Cork, Ireland, and is proud to continue her support for the Breast Cancer Foundation.
The pageant concentrates on charity and community service and is judged on deportment and positive activity in the community. The Classic Queen falls into the over 40s category in Australia or over 35s in the UK.
In addition to the Classic Queen title, Chantal was crowned WIRA Charity Queen for being the highest fundraiser, proudly supporting the National Breast Cancer Foundation in honour of her mum, aunt and two closest girlfriends.
“My goal was obviously to have a fantastic time and try something new,” she said. “But then knowing that I had the opportunity to keep fundraising and that I could make Mum proud.”
“This is a very personal charity for me as my Mum, my Aunt and two of my best friends all having faced or are currently facing this battle. This fundraising drive is dedicated to them and for those who will sadly be faced with this terrible disease in the future.” Chantal explained on her fundraising website.
“Breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in Australia. This year 20,825 Australians will be diagnosed. That is why I have decided to help fund the future of research and change these statistics.”

By selling raffle tickets, Chantal aims to help the National Breast Cancer Foundation take one step closer to reaching their goal of Zero Deaths From Breast Cancer by 2030.
First prize in the raffle is an exciting joy flight for one person, second, a handmade quilt; and third, a trailer load of firewood. Further down the prize list, jewellery, crystals, vouchers, and more are up for winning.
