It’s hard to believe, but it’s been 10 years since ALDI first opened in Yass, and the only original staff member still standing – Jamie Duncan – is also celebrating 10 years with the company. Aldi is also celebrating twenty years in Australia this year.
It comes at a time of leadership renewal at the store with local Tracey Beadman recently promoted to Store Manager in Yass, having years of experience as Assistant Manager.
Both Jamie and Tracey are well known in Yass and bring their friendly service and efficiency to the store for the benefit of both their long-time regulars and occasional visitors. They work closely with their team to do their best to assist customers new to ‘the Aldi way’.
An Aldi spokesperson said that “Over the years we have been a proud contributor to the (Yass) region via employment and local business partnerships.
“While our impact on the community continues to grow, one thing that will remain is our focus on offering the best possible value and maintaining our low prices.
We thank the local community for their loyalty over the past 10 years and look forward to continuing to serve familiar faces and welcoming new shoppers in recent years.”
