Covid-19 restrictions- What does it mean for us in the Yass Valley?

If you have been in the ACT since 12:01am on Thursday the 5th of August, you MUST follow the ACT stay at home orders for 14 days since you were last in the ACT, or until restrictions are lifted.

You will be required to stay at home except for the following reasons:
• shopping for food or other essential goods and services
• medical care and compassionate needs (including COVID-19 testing and caregiving)
• having a COVID-19 vaccination, unless you have been identified as a close contact
• essential work or education, where you cannot work or study from home.
• outdoor exercise with a member of your household or one other person

If you have been in the ACT in the last 14 days must also complete a declaration form https://www.service.nsw.gov.au/covid-19/travellers-entering-nsw. This is available on the Service NSW website, and can be completed in the 24-hour period before entering NSW or on arrival. For people who travel frequently between the ACT and NSW, a declaration form is only required to completed every 72 hours.
